SecurePlus is an application that provides comprehensive insight into your Oracle Fusion Application utilisation. This enables users to better understand the security setup and product utilisation.

Dashboard Welcome

The first screen summarises the utilisation statistics for your latest snapshot of your system.
Offering Summary(SKU) – Usage: %Active Users – Total Number of Users
Fusion Offerings (SKU) – Your application offering utilisation
Used Users With The Most Roles Assigned – Higlighting the users with the most roles and therefore potential costs through their priviledge assignments to chargable applications (SKU is the Oracle tracking name ‘Stock keeping Unit’ for billing purposes. This number is always quoted on the contract your organisation has with Oracle)
Snapshots

Secure+ downloads the data relevant to users role and privilege allocations on your system when you create a Snaphot.

Service Utilisation

Identify the users contributing to a particular applications utilisation. You can estimate and control the costs of your cloud application associated with those applicaitons which use the ‘Named user metric’.

Each service offering from Oracle Fusion Applications has a set of privileges which are identified in Secure+.
When a role* is assigned to a user, the users then has the privileges associated with the role counting as utilisations. For example, in the above illustration, the user has been identified as having contributed to the count of utilisations for the Performance Management Cloud service. This is because the user has at least one of the privileges listed on screen.
*During role design your implementor would refine your custom roles based on the seeded standard roles provided by Oracle.

Information is shown about the applicition consumption.
- About the Service offering (SKU)
- About the users of the service offering
- About the Roles impacting the service offering (if assigned to users)

Snapshot Comparisons
Knowing what has changed over time is very useful to system administrators and support. Tracking how Offerings are consumed over time and what changes have altered a users ability to see screens in the application or data can be critical for planning and user issue resolution.

Depending on what the comparison reveals, the user sees only what has changed, see in below compare, roles were also deleted from roles which what not the case in the above compare.

New users since the last snapshot are easily accessed from the dashboard.
Users who have had changes made to their role assignments are also easily identified.

In the above example a total of 17 users have had changes made to their role assignments, a total of 88 additional roles have been assigned across the 17 users. The details are listed of each change made. This information is vital to know when reconciling for example the service consumption with charges for the cloud services.

Configurable temaplates allow for custom extraction of your data to support your processes.
Deep Dives:
Role Design and Tracking Privileges
Within the Oracle Applications, users access to offerings, data and functionality are goverened by the allocation of grants to users via roles. Secure+ offers tracking at the level of privileges for all data and security assignments.

Tracking SKU impacts due to role hierarchy changes

It is often necessary to be able to identify the changes affecting subscription (SKU impacts) arising due to changes in the allocation of privileges and child roles. A user or group of users can be simultaniously impacted if one of their allocated roles has a change made to its hierarchy, such as a new role is added to an existing child row.
